Consignment Pricer / PT Floor Leader | North Van

We are looking for a self-motivated and team-oriented Consignment Pricer and PT Floor Leader to join our North Vancouver team.

Job Summary:

In this hybrid role, the Consignment Pricer will oversee the accurate pricing of inventory, as well as Floor Lead part time to support day to day leadership and operations of the store. Key responsibilities include: ensuring accurate input of consignment items, identifying and rectifying counting errors, maintaining pricing consistency, supporting efficiency in the consignment process, opening and closing, strategic delegation and follow up of tasks across the store team.

Job Duties: 

  • Accurate and efficient input of consignment inventory 
  • Ensure pricing is consistent and performing brand research when required
  • Support the consignment process through efficient movement of consignment inventory from backroom to floor 
  • Accurate tagging of consignment inventory
  • Maintain back of house cleanliness and organization 
  • Leading by example on the sales floor, offering genuine customer service and in the moment coaching to your team 
  • Encouraging and energizing staff through coaching and presence on the floor 
  • Supporting the Store and Assistant Managers with roll out of incentives and company wide promotions & promotional material 
  • Assisting with training and development/performance management of all store staff
  • Management of shop communication platforms - email, Slack, memos etc. 
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring follow up after a given timeframe
  • Supporting the Store and Visual Managers in strategic management of wholesale and consignment inventory, sell through and pricing - oversees restock, pricing and supports the maintenance of store merchandising standards
  • Responding to customer complaints with a diplomatic approach, while maintaining store policies

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 The H&H Floor Leader leads store sales and sorting teams 

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • 24-38 hours per week (must be able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet)
  • Must be available to open and close at minimum once per week
  • Must be available to work one weekend day 

Qualifications:

  • Above average attention to detail, focus and organization 
  • High level brand, pricing and trend awareness
  • Strong ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated communication skills: minimum 1 year exceptional customer service experience 
  • Strong eye for fashion and interest in learning about our product and brand identity
  • Ability to energize and motivate sales staff to achieve strategic objectives
  • Highly organized - able to prioritize, communicate and delegate tasks efficiently
  • Understands the consignment process and believes in recycling, reducing and reusing
  • Ability to perform effective sales techniques, meet sales goals, and foster long term relationships with customers
  • Minimum 1 year exceptional customer service in a retail environment - any leadership experience an asset
